CIS Goes Green

Take action to promote environmental stewardship

Caring for our planet is critically important. The CIS Goes Green initiative aims to engage our school community to be environmentally conscious and sustainably minded.

Through the Eco-Schools Programme, students are leading the way by conducting a sustainability audit. Once the audit is complete, the students will develop a schoolwide action plan. Students have organized environmental projects, such as tree planting and recycling, within their Eco Clubs. Concepts of environmental stewardship are integrated throughout our curriculum.

The design of our campuses also reflect our environmental ethos. We have over 2,000 solar panels on the rooftops of Koh Pich Campus. We use electric vehicles for inter-campus transport. Our purpose-built campuses incorporate environmentally responsive design principles. Our skilled landscaping team maintains our gardens, trees and grass playing field.

In March 2024, we unveiled our commissioned painting by Cambodia-based artist Tamara Venn, which represents the CIS Goes Green initiative.
