Alberta Accreditation Granted
CIS is accredited by Alberta Accredited International Schools, a body affiliated with the Ministry of Education of the province of Alberta, Canada.
Bassac Garden Campus Opens
Bassac Garden Campus opens on a quiet, leafy side street in Tonle Bassac. The campus caters to children in the Early Years Program.
Koh Pich Campus Opens
Koh Pich Campus opens with an Elementary School building and outdoor play areas.
Koh Pich Campus Expands
A theatre, sports complex, natural grass soccer field and lush gardens are added alongside a new Middle School and High School building.
Bilingual Programs Expand
The school's French Bilingual Program receives the LabelFrancÉducation seal. The Mandarin Bilingual Program opens.
Olympia City Campus Opens
The school's third campus opens in the Olympia City complex. The campus caters to children in the Early Years Program.
CIS Joins Regional Sports Conference
CIS joins the ASEAN Sports and Activities Conference (ASAC) alongside top international schools in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia.
CIS Roller Dome Opens
Inline skating is incorporated into the Physical Education and Wellness Program following the opening of the CIS Roller Dome.
IB World School Authorization
CIS begins offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) alongside the Alberta (Canadian) High School Program.
Artist in Residence Program Launched
CIS launches Cambodia's first Artist in Residence Program in which artists practice their art form on campus in collaboration with students.
10th Anniversary Celebration
CIS celebrates its 10th anniversary with an open house and family day!
Murals Created at Koh Pich Campus
As part of the school's 10th Anniversary Celebration, artists FONKI and Tamara Venn create original murals at Koh Pich Campus.
IB PYP Candidacy Granted
CIS is accepted as an IB Primary Years Programme candidate school. Elementary school life shifts into alignment with IB PYP expectations.
Koh Pich Campus Enhanced
An elementary gymnasium, new elementary playgrounds and a new Senior Kindergarten wing are added.
CIS Goes Green!
The school joins the Eco-Schools Programme, one of the largest global sustainable schools programs. The CIS Goes Green initiative is launched.
CIS Soccer Academy Opens
CIS opens its Soccer Academy, the first high-performance sport-study program of its kind in Cambodia.
