Affiliations

We are committed to high quality international education. Our commitment is demonstrated through continuous improvement and adherence to international standards. CIS is proud to be accredited by the Ministry of Education of the province of Alberta, Canada. CIS received approval from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Kingdom of Cambodia to operate as an educational institution in August 2012. 

The LabelFrancÉducation seal is granted by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. CIS became the first school in Cambodia to receive it when it was awarded in recognition of our French Bilingual Program in 2019.

In March 2021, CIS became an authorized IB World School. We offered our first IB diplomas in June 2023. CIS was approved for IB Primary Years Programme candidacy in December 2023. 

CIS is a member of the Council of International Schools. This means that we have demonstrated our commitment to providing students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue their lives as global citizens and to provide high quality international education.
